Course overview

You can still apply to BU (including through UCAS Extra). Please apply through UCAS as soon as possible; your application can only be assessed once we have received it from UCAS.

Delivered at Bournemouth & Poole College based in central Bournemouth.

The Foundation degree awarding body is Bournemouth University. This course aims to offer a qualification to those employed or aspiring to be employed in this sector and who wish to progress onto a managerial position either within a tourism or events industry or establishment.

Tourism and Events Management are both growing industries where employers are increasingly looking to recruit people with a relevant qualification or previous experience. This course will give you both of those attributes, by combining the theory with its practical application. As one of the country’s biggest tourist destinations, where better to study tourism and events management than somewhere you will be able to see working examples all around you? Bournemouth offers plenty of opportunity for students to find part-time work in these fields too, further strengthening your CV.

Where will it take me?
