Radio in the UK is a major growth industry. 91% of the adult population listen each week, served by eight national stations, 272 local commercial stations and 42 BBC local radio stations. Added to this, in one of the most exciting developments of recent years, a new platform of community stations are currently being launched.

The Foundation degree in Radio Production, a partnership between education and industry, addresses the practical skills required to become a part of these developments.
