Ellie Hamer

FdA Professional Culinary Arts

'Having taken two years out of studying I decided I wanted to become a chef and tart my own business. This Foundation Degree is a really good practical course, teaching you an excellent combination of cooking skills at a high level with management and industry knowledge. It is the best course I could have taken, I find the tutors are really friendly and, as they all come from industry, they’ve got lots of skills and knowledge. I also like the way you get all round great experience, such as running the College’s Escoffier restaurant for one day a week.'
