FdA Performing Arts - Contemporary Theatre Performance:

This route is for students interested in furthering their performance skills and deepening their knowledge of the contemporary theatre scene. Tutors include a wide range of specialists from the College's large, full-time Performing Arts team, supplemented by an intensive work experience project with Forest Forge Theatre Company and a programme of workshops by visiting professionals.

The course comprises a mixture of practical and theoretical sessions with a strong emphasis on integration of the two elements. Modules include Contemporary Theatre, Physical Theatre and Acting Technique. Students will be continually assessed through a series of practical performances, written assignments and oral presentations. 100% attendance is expected to pass the programme.
