An excellent choice for students with a keen interest in outdoor activities who wish to pursue a career with a specific focus on management.

The management, business and leadership aspects of this course are designed to lead graduates directly into the outdoor education industry with which the College has very close links. Although this is an academic course there is a good degree of practical content utilising the superb environment and venues in Dorset, UK and abroad. The College is close to the beautiful Dorset coast which is justifiably renowned for the excitement and adventure it offers sea kayakers. There are plenty of opportunities to achieve National Governing Body Awards and gain essential logbook hours towards instructor and coaching qualifications.

The College has an extremely well-equipped Outdoor Activities Centre; whatever your outdoor experience to date you will be able to try new activities and push yourself further. Students complete a period of work experience in a relevant organisation between Year 1 and Year 2.

On successful completion, graduates can expect to gain management positions within the outdoor industry or continue their studies on a related top-up Honours degree.
