This course has been specifically designed for UK and international students with appropriate existing qualifications (HND, Foundation degree or equivalent) in tourism, business or allied subjects to continue their studies to degree level. It develops graduates with the managerial skills and knowledge necessary to succeed in this dynamic and challenging international industry.

As well as gaining a better understanding of tourism as a management specialism, you will also develop your ability to evaluate and analyse, while applying your knowledge in innovative ways.

The core of the course focuses on strategic management subjects with practical tourism examples. You will be given tutorial support for your dissertation, which will be a major piece of research work in an area of tourism management in which you are particularly interested.
