Overview

Forensic Science short course

At BU, we recognise that placements are extremely valuable and can give you a head start when it comes to your future career, therefore we will be offering every new student the opportunity to undertake an industrial placement from 2012.

We will provide a great deal of help and support to ensure you achieve a rewarding and satisfying placement. We have an in-school Placement Officer who will assist you in finding a placement as well as a database of nearly 900 organisations who have acted as hosts for our students in previous years.

Forensic short courses

If you successfully complete one of our forensics short courses you can have the number of days you attended deducted from those required by your course on placement. You can then have the short course added to your transcript, which you will receive on graduation.

To benefit from this opportunity please ensure you register with the Applied Sciences Employability Coordinator who will ensure the short course is included as part of your placement.
