Whatever you are studying you can access study resources and support flexibly through our Virtual Learning Environment, myBU.

Other resources include :

• Our impressive Sir Michael Cobham Library based on Talbot Campus. Winner of the SCONUL award 2007 (equivalent of a Library Oscar!), together with our Lansdowne Library based at Bournemouth House, provide an extensive collection of e-books and e-journals to support your study
• The library also has an online chat service as well as an out of office telephone service
• Open Access Centre, with 24/7 access to computers, and wifi across the campuses for laptop connections, with free email accounts to make it easy to access learning resources as well as stay in touch with friends and family
• Study support workshops for those who would like to improve note-taking, essay and report-writing techniques
• Peer Assisted learning schemes to help you develop your study and learning strategies
• And a dedicated Additional Learning Needs team to help support you if needed, so you can truly benefit from your time with us

Partner Colleges offer the same high standards of academic support you would expect to find at a University, including open access IT and library facilities. Students at partner colleges can also access all BU facilities whenever they wish, and to help you study effectively we provide password protected online access to our library resources and an inter-library loan system.
