Media Short Courses Framework CPD

Course overview

Designed and delivered by the Media School these innovative short courses are designed to meet the needs of Media Professionals, for relevant, industry focused and flexible professional development opportunities.

The short courses are delivered by experienced academics and practitioners, and ensure their relevance by focusing content on current industry trends, developments and issues.

At the core of each short-course is a two-day ‘creative retreat’ (typically a Friday/ and Saturday) in Bournemouth (see note below) where you will be able to network with other like minded professionals, as well as develop your knowledge and skills in the specific area of study.

Please note: our journalism short course are delivered in collaboration with the Guardian Media Academy. These courses are delivered at the Guardian offices in London.

An added bonus ... Mix your own masters degree

Complete three of these courses and receive a recognised postgraduate qualification. To further complement the knowledge gained from the weekend session, an additional seven weeks of online tuition/support is available; culminating in the award of 20 Masters level (M) credits – which you can use to build you own tailored Postgraduate Certificate/Diploma or a full Masters degree.
