Career opportunities

Completion of the LPC is a Law Society requirement for anyone wishing to become a solicitor.

BU also offers LPC graduates the opportunity to build on their LPC qualification with the LLM Legal Practice. You will enhance your skills and knowledge base by completing a dissertation in a relevant area of particular practice interest. It is expected that the topic of the dissertation will be in an area of law or legal practice associated with the knowledge and skills acquired and developed in the Legal Practice Course.

Entry requirements:
The LPC is part of the training for those seeking to be admitted as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of England and Wales. You must have completed the academic stage of training by obtaining a Qualifying Law Degree or a Graduate Diploma in Law/Common Professional Examination.
