The minimum qualification is a 2:2 Honours degree or comparable professional qualification. Applications are welcomed from graduates of a wide range of disciplines seeking either a career in journalism or to develop a research interest in global news media. Current journalists and related media professionals who wish to update their knowledge are also encouraged to apply. In some cases, applicants may be invited for interview. Applications from non- graduate backgrounds are treated on a case by case basis.
