Foundations of Clinical Psychology MSc

Overview

Students have the opportunity to gain valuable experience with a Field Supervisor in an area of clinical psychology. Typically, a 15-day placement over about 7-8 weeks will provide the student with more than an insight of the breadth of work of the Field Supervisor as well as gaining in-depth knowledge to allow for completion of the 2,500-word reflective Dissertation and 12,500-word Critical Literature Review.

This placement experience makes the MSc Foundations of Clinical Psychology unique. In addition, patient-centred teaching of case histories and related subject matter, makes the MSc a potentially important enhancement to applicants of clinical psychology training programmes, clinical psychology teaching and research, and management career paths.
