“The academics are passionate about their areas of expertise and this is communicated through the delivery of the units. They are also keen on feedback to aid in the development of the course, so your input is really valued.”

"When I found out that the BU School of Tourism was one of the best in the country I decided to come to BU as I knew there would be a lot of experienced lecturers. I’ve had such a great time since I’ve got to the university. The lecturers and all the staff of the school are always there to help you because they really want you to have the best experience of your life and BU does really offer that.

As a part of our course at the end of the year we have to create an event. We have to go out there and do all the promoting and the marketing so it’s a great opportunity for us to actually use all the skills we have learnt throughout the academic year. When we’re organising these events we learn the challenges we’ll face in the future such as working with others from all around the world with different skills and how to manage people, so the School of Tourism is preparing us for what we’ll be doing after we graduate."
