This course aims to provide you with the ability to plan, implement and produce computer games using modern methods and tools. In recent years there have been significant developments in the philosophies, methods and tools for planning, implementing and producing computer games. The MSc in Computer Games Technology at Bournemouth University is designed to provide the relevant industry with expert personnel who understand the technical tools and techniques required by the gaming development sector.

The topics covered throughout the Masters provide an in-depth knowledge in a number key areas of games technology and production. You will be working on advanced skills for different parts of the games development pipeline such as games programming, level design, 3D modelling and animation, artificial intelligence and the use of physics in games, intellectual property issues and others.
